STORY

A new saga begins.
Rise like a dragon with Ichiban Kasuga!

January 1, 2001. Ichiban Kasuga, a low-ranking member of of the Tojo Clan's Arakawa Family, faces an 18-year prison sentence when his patriarch, Masumi Arakawa, asks him to take the fall for a crime commited by his lieutenant, Jo Sawashiro. Out of love and respect for his patriarch, Kasuga accepts without hesitation. In 2019, he returns to society as a free man.

However, no one is around to welcome him back.
All alone, he returns to his hometown of Kamurocho—only to find that it is no longer the Kamurocho he once knew.

The Tojo Clan has been annihilated by the police's Kamurocho 3K Plan. Now, Kamurocho is Omi Alliance turf—and it's said that the man Ichiban respected most, Masumi Arakawa, was behind it all. In disbelief, Ichiban decides to find Arakawa and hear the truth from him directly.

After fighting off members of the Omi Alliance and his former comrade, Jo Sawashiro, Kasuga finally reaches Arakawa. However, instead of a warm reunion, Arakawa greets him with gunfire, asking Ichiban to die for him. As the gunshot rings out, Kasuga's vision fades.

Hovering between life and death, Kasuga awakens somewhere unexpected: a homeless camp, surrounded by filthy garbage and cardboard shacks.
When he asks a nearby person where he is, the man responds, "Ijincho! Isezaki Ijincho! You're in Yokohama! You know Yokohama, right?"
Now at rock bottom, Kasuga must rise to the occasion, taking on a yakuza conflict alongside a ragtag group of society's outcasts.
